The President of the Council, Ahmet Savaşan, was elected as a member of the Board of Directors in the General Assembly of the World Health Tourism Council held in Amman, Jordan, with participation of more than 500 delegates from 42 countries including Algeria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Canada, China, Egypt, Finland, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Turkey, Qatar, Singapore, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and the United States. In the “World Health Tourism Form” global health tourism roadmap is defined through discussing issues such global health tourism targets, legislation, accreditation, education and research, expansion of scope of health travel, marketing and branding, ethics.
